PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Broccolo Creative designs and facilitates professional development workshops for companies and community groups with an emphasis on communication and team building using performance and theatre skills training.

These workshops utilize actor training methods modified for non-actors to develop communication skills,  presentation skills, group dynamics, collaboration and team building.

Previous acting experience is not required.

These  fun, affordable,  one-day workshops are an great way to improve staff morale and encourage employees to become more effective, energetic and enthusiastic.

COMMUNICATON

Hone your communication skills in a workshop designed for the business professional. Acting and theatre exercises will be used to develop and enhance interpersonal communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. 

TEAM BUILDING 

Positive group dynamics generate an enthusiastic and efficient team. This fun and effective team-building workshop uses and theatre games and acting exercises to enhance group dynamics, improve working relationships, and encourage collaboration and cooperation, while building team morale.

Our Facilitator,  John B. Lowe, is a professional director, actor and filmmaker who has been teaching  acting for theatre and film for many professional and community film and theatre programs for over 20 years

John has facilitated numerous corporate and staff training for organizations such as: CHUM Radio group, Aboriginal People’s Television (APTN), Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, University of Winnipeg, Manitoba Hydro and Manitoba Parks.

John was the School and Community Programs Director at Prairie Theatre Exchange, for 10 years, where he  taught and coached many emerging and established professional actors, specializing in theatre and acting for the camera.
