The Common Sense HOLIDAY Cabaret was an evening of comedy and music in the style of an old-school TV variety show redesigned for a modern, Winnipeg audience.
Our host was local has-been celebrity, Joseph Common, (played by John B. Lowe), supported by his dysfunctional family of entertainers; Joseph’s nieces, The Dark Sisters, (Sarah Constible, Trish Cooper and Erin McGrath), Joseph’s ex-wife, the controversial chanteuse, Constance Common (Marina Stephenson Kerr) and his nephew, Little Joe Common, (Cory Wojcik). The Talentless Lumps and the Macho Poo-Poo choir also performed.
