A Fly Flew Over Wins Cinematographer Award
Broccolo Creative is proud to announce that the SoLowe Short, A FLY FLEW OVER won the award for Best Cinematographer at the 2014 AIM Mumbai International Short Film Carnival. This accolade is shared by filmmakers John B. Lowe and Miranda Lowe.
A FLY FLEW OVER is a whimsical short about a chance meeting between a vagabond poet and a fly who becomes both his muse and his audience.
SoLowe Shorts are a series of short films created for Broccolo Creative by filmmaker, John B. Lowe. These whimsical short films are written, directed and (sometimes) performed by John B. with little or no assistance. However, for A FLY FLEW OVER, John collaborated with a talented young filmmaker, Miranda Lowe. Miranda created a believable and lively off-camera character solely through the skillful use of the P.O.V. “Fly Cam”. Miranda’s contribution was invaluable to the success of this charming short film.
John has just completed shooting the next SoLowe Short, JUST ONE, which is currently in post-production.
